I do go to the salon from time to time when I need a quick fix before an important event or meeting when I don’t have time to paint my nails myself. Of course it feels luxury and far more comfortable, but I cannot justify going to the salon every week or so and pay money for something I can do myself.
Usually I do an at home manicure one a week probably though I repaint my nails 2-3 times a week. I know it’s
should be can be too much for the majority of people.
I’ve been looking for a perfect pair of flats for a while – I wanted them to be they-suit-everything kind of pair and plus I didn’t want them to be black – such a dilemma. Than I thought about leopard. It is just like a patterned black, right?
I don’t like to spend much money on flats – I’d better spend less and have more pairs or change them up every season.
So I came across Heel’s site… and my mind been blown. There are so many styles and colors and brands to choose from so you just cannot leave with out buying something!
Recently I was thinking a lot about life, graduation, my family, relationships… practically everything in small portions. I was in a kinda philosophy mood and I was evaluating how I got to where I am and why. And there are certain things I would like to share.
If you aren’t happy with your job or whatever you are doing try your best at changing that. Sometimes it’s possible and it’s still not the end of the world – find a hobby! Find something you are passioned about, something that brings you joy and happiness. if you can make money from that – just a pleasant bonus.
Be grateful. For everything. My mom taught me that – don’t be shy to thank people for whatever they did to you. Answer for a simple question or a ride home or something serous – be grateful. People love to hear that you appreciate their work and efforts. For some people to makes their day – a simple ‘thank you’.
Enlarge your knowledge – if there is particular things you are interested it e.g. history or particular animal and a personality – find out more about him/her/it. Let it be the topic you are good at, something you can share with others and even maybe impress people and it would benefit you too.
Have you found you passion in life? What is it?
Happy Anniversary to WEEK HEROES – happy 20!
I haven’t done those posts for a while – there is either no products/things to talk about or there were some other things I wanted to talk about.
But the time came and the products were tested and approved and some other interesting pieces were found. Shall we..?
There are some many beauty bloggers talking about Zoeva brushes and so many raves about how awesome those brushes are. Everyone said they are soft, they made nicely and they are affordable. New brushes always attract me so I couldn’t mis the hype and didn’t buy them. I caved…
A girl can never have enough red nail polishes, right? Whenever I don’t know which polish to wear I always go for red. It instantly makes me feel more secure and more chic. I don’t know what it about… it’s so sexy and elegant on the nails and it matches every outfit.
You cannot be a beauty blogger if you are not shopping on a regular basis, right?
I love shopping and especially in beauty departments – pretty much everyday I go into drugstore just to have a look – what’s new, which products are back in stock and just to browse around and play with bits.
Recently I went into the shop and couldn’t left with nothing – just too much tempting babies.
With all those technologies and online world people forget about some interesting and previously important things. Today I’m not going to talk about internet or kids that are getting addicted to online relationships and those who try to escape from reality. No, today’s topics is different. It’s easier and more relaxing to read and you can actually DO something about it.
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post of mine you know that my life is very full of staff right now. I have so much staff to do and to plan – it’s just insane. But I do have meetings and situations when I have to look presentable, but I don’t have much time to get ready or I simply son’t want to spend my valuable time.
I know the ombre nail trend isn’t a new one, but I just love it and if it isn’t ‘in season’ anymore I don’t care. This nail art or design is very very versatile, cause depending on the season you can easily switch the colors and make it appropriate for any time.
I’ve been meaning to do this post all summer and never got to it – either had other things to blog about or forgot about that particular idea – that’s why I have a picture with summer neon theme, but as I said you can use whatever color you wish. So how to make this ombre effect on you nails?
