Every year probably every other person in his new year resolutions says that he/she will eat healthier, drink more water and so on.
I’m actually good at my ‘diet’ – I don’t eat junk food, I hate soda and I love my veggies. I’m not saying it to brag or say ‘look at me I eat healthy’ I’m saying it to inspire other people cause you definitely feel different when you eat better. I’m fond of snacking – there are so many healthy options – veggies, dips, dried foods and energy bars…my favs. They are easy and fast on the go. If you don’t have time for a proper meal it doesn’t mean to cannot eat healthy.
It’s been a while since my last food related post so I though it’s about time to make another one. I don’t know about you, but I don’t get that hungry during the summer, I mean I do it, but all that heat just makes me more thirsty, than hungry. So I prefer something light and easy to make and to it and what can be more easier that a simple dip?
I love dips – it can spice up any veggie, simple toasted piece of bred, you can use some as a side dish or even a sauce for meat or fish.
On today’s menu is hummus.
Well, I’m back. If you don’t know I was away for the weekend I spent a lovely 3 days in Saint Petersburg. it’s a vise capital of Russia and this city was founded in 1703! It located on the Neva River at the head of the Gult of Finland on the Baltic Sea. Enough of the history – time for slideshow!
It was such a nice trip, really. We stayed especially in s SPA-hotel, because we needed pure relax and wanted to escape. Luckily this was THE place. There are a lot a saunas of different types (russia one, the hammam, steam sauna, the snowy one with -15C, the sauna with light heat and so on. Lovely place. The weather was beneficial – lucky we again. No rain no wind.
We walked a lot, visited beautiful places and ate delicious food. Bonus!
