Best Christmas Movies

Aren’t you tired of Christmas posts? Well I’m not – from post to post I’m getting even more excited. Today we speak entertainment. For me there is nothing better than a Christmas music through the speakers or a warming movie with a cup of hot chocolate to smooth the evening over.

Side note: if you have more recommendations please please leave in the comments below.

Let’s start with movies?

Image

As I’ve mentioned in my ‘Hello December’ post on the top of my list sit 2 movies – How Grinch Stole Christmas and Polar Express. They just make me happy. The smile doesn’t leave my face. Can it be enough? Of course not. Need some love mood? Love actually. Colin Firth? *heart-eyed face* Emma Thompson? Bill Nighy / Mack with his ‘Christmas is all around me’? And whole bunch of other festive soundtracks…? This is a definite must-watch. You can never have enough love stories? The Holiday. Humor, flashing lights, sound of crunchy snow, sexy Jude Law. Gosh, how handsome he is. Even writing about that now makes me wanna watch the movie look at him. Need a movie with inspiring and deep sense? A Christmas Carol is for you. This can certainly teach you a lesson. Personality’s transformation from bad to good? Always nice. Can anyone skip Christmas with out watching the perfect duo a.k.a. Home Alone & Home Alone 2? I think those babies are always in my and our hearts. It’s a wining combo for any age – my mom and even my lil brother who is 6 years old. Laughing all the way. Some recent launches? Sure! Arthur Christmas. How adorable is he and all his family? That old man grand Santa…oooh…

Hope you’ve liked the selection and hope you’ll have nice time watching those ones!

P.S. Stay turned for afternoon post – my favorite Christmas songs. Me likey.

WEEK HEROES #11

Yay, yay. Happy December everyone. It’s cold, it’s snowy – welcome to winter.

Apparently I was a fan of beauty bits during this week – there is a lot and some of them are first-timers. Interesting? Let’s dig in.

Image

MAC blush in Eversun. I’m so sorry, but it’s a limited addition – it’s peachy brown shade, very warm, there is a slight shimmer going on, but it doesn’t transfer on the skin at all. I use as blushing bronzer – 2 in 1 product – brings warmth to the face and structure the face with one swipe. Pretty pigmented so be careful. I may of went a bit crazy once twice.

No nail polish this time, but more skincare. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. I use it as my day moisturizer. During the summer I found it to be too heavy, but now it’s just perfect. Plus makes it easier to remover the makeup at night. All the girls want after busy day.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. I love to use it on its own pre night moisturizer to mixing up with some oil for more intense hydration and plumping. I really see the difference after using this own, my skin does look and feel fresher and renewed the morning after. Plus I’ve picked this up on sale after the Synchronised Recovery Complex II launch. Pleasant bonus.

Can I speak even more about it? Diptyque ‘Volutes’. I’ve wrote the whole review, but I cannot help myself. I adore this perfume, never had something alike before and seems that it’s a long-term relationship.

Enough beauty, let’s move to randoms. My DIY notebook. The post that went live yesterday, this looks so sleek on my table and so unique. It makes me wanna use it more and since it’s a spanish vocabulary I makes eduction process muuuuch easier.

Want more DIYs, well those bracelets are also made by me. I bought some beads onine, some charms, elastics and here you are. I’ve made that long time ago but recently pulled them out the drawer and been enjoying using them since then. Stackable, sparkling, colorful, bring summer spirits. Thumbs up!

Do you enjoy those post or should I make a little break with them? Please comment below.

WEEK HEROES #8

Have you noticed that week passing by? I didn’t.

I always get so excited to write those posts, cause it makes me really think about that products that stood out for me this week. I don’t wanna grab random 3-5 products from my stash I call them my favorites, I really want to mention meaningful bobs and bits. That the whole point, right? And I never schedule this posts, like I can do with some during-the-week ones.

So let’s get down to business?

photo 1

Benefit ‘Coralista’. Why I even stopped using that blush on a daily basis? GORGEOUS peachy pink blush with subtle shimmer – what is more there to ask? Nothing, exactly! If I was made to name my top 5 blushes, this one will definitely make the cut.

Butter London ‘Royal Blue’. If you follow me on twitter you probably know the moment I painted my nails with this baby. (If you don’t follow me on twitter, well… you definitely should!). Back to the nail polish. It’s just the most beautiful dark blue. Now everyone is going crazy over Essie’s After school Boy Blazer, well this Buttel London one is my boy. Absolutely stunning. I’m sure this will pop up a lot on my nails … and toes.

Speaking of nails. Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover. I’m not very picky with the removers and I don’t  use those much, but this week was a SPA session at my apartment – did my nail and toes and both times used this staff. It’s good, like really good. Softens the cuticle, makes it easy to push back. I’m satisfied!

I found my old iPod Nano. Yes, I used to be a pink lover. It has so many good and forgotten songs. I been listening to it non stop! Here some songs that just rock – ‘Why can’t I’ by Liz Phair, ‘Now That We Found Love’ by Heavy D & The Boyz and ‘I don’t know’ by Erika. Remember those? If not now, yes, right now, give them a guuud listen!

Rimmel ‘Wake Me Up’ Foundation. Love it. Wore it. I have the full review on that one here – check for more details and love.

Now I’m off to paint my nails and toes. Have a good Sunday, guys.

WEEK HEROES #7

It’s time to end up another week and talk about products that ‘warmed’ me during those 7 days. This week appeared to be more about care than makeup. I’ve treated myself with far more pamper days – hair treatments, hair masks, nail care.

ImageBurt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. Affordable and miracle working bit – I had to have it. Now my option – luuuvre it. This does amazing job hydrating the cuticle, it absorbs pretty quickly and not leaving greasy feeling.

Music time! Freddie Stroma ‘Knockin’. The song that I have on repeat. On the notebook while reading Bloglovin, or on iPhone on a subway – every time with me.

Leighton Deny Crystal Nail File. I’ve know for a long time that crystal nail files are less harsh for the nails, they don’t split the ends that much. But this one is a recent edition and I’m converted for life, once you try it you can never let it go. Yes.

Starbucks Gingerbread Latte. Those red cups are just beckoning me. Hot spicy drink just makes the whole day taste better. Cup of this miracle drink, goof movie or YouTube and you are covered with pleasure.

Kiehl’s Suprebly Smoothing Argan Conditioner. Being a curlied girl with dry-ish hair, I’m always for extra nourishment and this one is a guuuud one. It leaves you hair silky soft, smooth and ‘touchable’. yep, I’ve been there, when you always when to check your hair and cannot believe it’s yours.

Hope you like those kind of posts, enjoy reading and share with me your favorites!

‘Soft & Gentle’ by MAC

Thanks to make up and special techniques it can help you to cheat. Bigger lips? Conceal the lip line and draw another one with a lip pencil. Light and spaceless brows? Eyeshadow and a brush or an eye pencil and you are Cara Delevingne. No cheekbones? Contouring and highlighting and you are done with the complexion.

The last one is the one I use the most. I’m not Vivien Leigh, so I need something to enhance something or that little that I have. I’ve a lot of bronzers and highlighters, but todays I’m going to talk about one of my favorite one – MAC Mineralize Skinfinish ‘Soft and Gentle’. I just love it. I won’t say it is finely milled at all, there even a small line of chinky glitter (this by the way I like to pop into inner conners with a small brush). At the same time I won’t say that you look crazily glittered with it, no, If you a highlighter-guurl – this one is for you.

Image

Another thing I like to use it for it when I fancy a minimum make up day look I apply it as an eyeshadow, the shimmery lids and a mascara – and you look stunning without any fuss really.

Image

Now I’m on a hunt got theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer. This one seems to be heeeeeaaaven…. Something tells me you gonna see me hauling. Poor pocket.

Are you fond of highlighters? Do you have the-one one?

THE WEEK HEROES #4

Well, finally I’m done with this week – that’s a been a pretty tough one. I’ve been ill for the most part of it (and I’m still ill unfortunately…) so there isn’t much make-up, I was bare-faced pretty much all days. But there are still some bobs and bits I want to talk you through.

IMG_9758

Clarins Face and Blush Palette. This is the only make-up thing I had time to use at the beginning of the week. Again can get enough of that. The universal palette – use the middle shades to bronze up the face, to give a bit of oomph to the face and with big fluffy brush the all-over-swirl pop some color on the cheeks.

KIKO nail color. Since I had to stay in bed I was so bored, so I had to keep my hands busy and this came soo handy. This is the perfect shade, neither on the cooler nor on the warmer side, neither in the pink spectrum nor in the berry. Pure red. Very flattering. I’ve painted my nails twice within one week.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil. This is the only thing I’ve been using to moisturize my face, because of the illness my skin became dry with some really dry patches. And the overall condition was not the good – the skin feels tight and not elastic – this was/is my life-skin-saver.

Encore Provence: New Adventures in the South of France by Peter Mayle. This is a tasty book. Yes, yes. While reading it you want to taste everything mentioned, visit every place described and generally be there. The speciality of this book is you don’t want to read it fast – you want to pass through each and everyword.

Random favorite time! Candy Crush App. I got into it when it was just released and now again. Obsessed. I was bored and ran through my phone apps and when saw THAT icon I just couldn’t think of anything else… Even now one hand is typing and the other is playing.

Do you have any stood-out this week? Tell me in the comment section.

THE FANCIES #4

Well, I thought it’s time for another personal reveal. I think such posts help everyone understand me, a little sneak-peak into my life (just like it’s written here) and may be help me to find more like-minded persons, which is always great, right?

spain-mapI love Spain and everything associated with it and especially the Spanish language. I think is very tuneful, bright and just slides…

I’m been learning it for almost 3 years, here and there, with several breaks, but now I’m back on track and the post is right on time. I would say that the language is easy not difficult. You pretty much read what you see, write what you hear. There are several terms of course, but nothing fancy. As for vocabulary – a lot similar verbs and nouns as in English – that simplifies things, isn’t it?

Also this language is pretty wide-spread one. Last year the Instituto Cervantes did a research and it appeared that 495 million people speaks Spanish all over the world, which takes it up to the 2nd place after Chinese. This is something to consider.

Are you learning any foreign languages? Pop in the comments down below!

The picture nabbed from TripOutlook.

EYES=SOUL

Time to talk about make-up. I’m truly 100% eye-shadow junkie. So eye make-up girl. If I was to choose between lip product and eye product – definitely eyes!

Image

Speaking about experiments with the shades, of course I’m more a neutral follower, but sometimes I can go “crazy” (not much of course and not on a night out).

TIP:

If you want to go out of your comfort zone (yes, we are still talking about the eye-shadows), just go ahead and choose your “crazy” color and make it work the way you want it. On the crease, on the lash line, under the eye, inner corner – whatever you feel. The tip is not to experiment when you have plans during the day. Perhaps you have a day off and you are planning to spend it watching your favorite TV show or doing laundry and cleaning the house – *blink*  this is THE moment.

I’m not saying I have a tone of eye-shadow, probably not (or not YET) but I’m cannot stop myself from exploring the ocean,

I have several CHANEL ones (my lowest reached ones btw), 2Inglot pallets, around 10 MAC depots, of course individual ones, and yes, I placed an order on Urban Decay Naked one, it took me soo long denying I need it, and justifying the splurge, but I finally didn’t it and cannot wait when it arrives!

Experiment. Don’t be afraid of colors.

Burberry. My must-haves.

Hello. My name is Snezhana and I’m a beauty-junkie. The next item in my wish list is Burberry eyeshadows. Since I’m becoming an eyeshadow lover I cannot stop myself. Always online looking for some new swatches, for some new brands that haven’t got a change to save a place in my makeup collection.

So without further do let me introduce my new heroes. Burberry single palettes.  On total there are 25 shades and if I could buy them all I would. Honestly. But since I don’t have machine that issues packs of cash I should choose. And there are 2 shades that I particularly caught my eye.

Midnight Brown Sheer Eye Shadow No.21

To have or not to have..?

TATTOO.

Things that people are eager to do with their body. And I’m one of them. It’s been a while when I first though of getting one. After couple of years the desire hasn’t disappeared which for me means that I really want to have one. Or does it mean that if I still don’t have it I don”t need one?

The desired print is picked. The size, the font – all set.

Perfect timing?

People’s opinion?

What really stops me?
